Business Development in Prison
This is a preview of a future blog. My step son has an amazing talent in drawing. He has made some serious mistakes and ended up in prison. He is now allowed to draw after many years of imprisonment and the sketches he sends to us cause me to drop my jaw in awe and my husband come to tears. I would like to research how he might sell his artwork. I’ve heard and viewed similar endeavors online and know it is possible. I would like to see him develop his skills. He’s also a skilled mechanic and construction worker, having remodeled homes in his own business. He could be teaching other inmates.
Many prisoners have so much undeveloped potential and are just sitting behind bars. What a waste! How can society call this rehabilitation? I will take a small segment of rehabilitation called business development and investigate its possibilities and ramifications.
