This is a preview of a future blog. My Mom and my Aunt lived similar lives as farm wives. Both kept daily journals that recorded the events of their day. These are primarily lists of things they accomplished or special events that occurred. My plans for this blog, which will require much research, is to review their journals and write about their lives. I will primarily focus on their lives as farm wives to give you a glimpse of what it was like. This way of living is quickly dwindling as the smaller farms are swallowed up by huge, corporate farms. Their challenges and actions to overcome obstacles are unique to farm wives of that day. The special joys of living on the farm will be highlighted. The faith they possessed will portray the strength and character God gave them. Check back for further development of this story, which will be worth waiting for.
